A588 is an American standard weathering steel grade. A588 grade is divided into three grades: GrA, GrB, and GrC. It is commonly used in construction, large factories or waiting halls, large exhibition venues, etc. The production thickness ranges from 8mm to 200mm. The A588 series of high weather-resistant bridge structural steel plates include A588GrA, A588GrB, A588GrC, etc.
Weather-resistant structural steel, that is, atmospheric corrosion resistant steel, belongs to low-alloy high-strength structural steel. According to its main characteristics, it is divided into high weathering structural steel and weathering steel for welded structure.
