The production process of MDF
The production process of density board mainly includes the following steps:
1. Raw material chipping: Separate the wood into wood chips with specifications that meet the production requirements to prepare for the subsequent hot grinding process.
2. Hot grinding: After the wood chips are softened by steaming, they are ground into fibers by a hot grinder, and glue is applied at the same time. Then, the fibers are sent to the fiber silo through the air conveying system and the drying process.
3. Paving: The dried fibers are laid into preliminary slabs by a paving machine, and pre-pressed and cut to form a rough board.
4. Hot pressing: The rough board is sent to the hot press and hot pressed under high temperature and high pressure to vaporize the moisture in the slab, increase the density, redistribute the adhesive and waterproofing agent, form a bonding force, and meet the quality requirements.
5. Finishing treatment: The hot-pressed slab is formed into a semi-finished board through a horizontal saw, and then sanded, inspected, selected, etc., and finally becomes a finished density board.
In addition, the production process also involves the steps of raw material screening, slicing, milling, board laying, initial pressing, compacting, cooling, curing and size cutting to ensure the quality and performance of the final product. Density board is widely used in furniture, decoration, musical instruments and packaging due to its uniform structure, fine material, stable performance, impact resistance and easy processing.
